The project-wide hierarchy of public, semi-public and private space oriented from a macro-scale to a micro-scale was taken into account. Relationships between urban open and green areas, pedestrian crossings, courtyards, ground floor garden uses and roof terraces are discussed in this hierarchy.
All building blocks were placed in a position to surround the islands, so a large open area was obtained in the center of the building islands. This open space is considered both as a green area and a public common area and allows building blocks to form a city wall with each other. With this city wall, roads and streets are defined more clearly and they do not give the sense of uncanny and insecure open space to their users. Since both the common green areas in the middle of the island and the streets are surrounded by building blocks, a more dynamic urban texture is formed. The continuity from the arrangement of these texture and building blocks makes the city defined and can scratch the urban streets and axes into memory to create urban memory.
